Adapter shafts for Jet IBG-8VSB Variable Speed Buffer

These adapter shafts enable fitment of Sand-Rite pneumatic drums or flap head sanders on the adjustable speed Jet IBG-8VSB motor.

Our tools sand best at lower speeds and this motor enables the user to dial in an ideal speed. We recommend using the 900 to 1400 rpm speed range only.

The motor runs very smoothly and it has plenty of power at 1hp.

We sell two lengths.

The 6" shaft is for the brush head only.

The 9 3/4" shaft is for sanding drums.

Choose which side of the machine you want to mount the shaft on when you order. Left or Right.

Buy 2 shafts at 20% discount to convert both sides of the buffer.
